About Me

This is my attempt to live as an artist. To live, as Toni Morrison describes, “digging for the hidden, questioning or relishing . . . eager to envision what is there, noticing what is not. . . Sometimes the experience is profound, harrowing, beautiful; other times enraging, contemptible, unrewarding.”

  1. Lindsey,

Thank you so much for your kind words about my blog. I love it when I can inspire strangers and not just my friends and acquaintances. I love your blog as well. It’s so nice to see a blog about teaching/school mixed with personal goals and growth. You’re a wonderful writer! Anytime you want to talk about teaching or anything in general (we seem to have a lot in common) please shoot me an email. LaurelSuz@gmail.com

    Hi Lindsay,

I love your blogs. I read them both. Your writing is just gorgeous. I feel my own words are inadequate when it comes to describing how beautiful yours are!

I feel so lucky to have met you last week. We missed seeing you the last day of the institute and hope everything’s all right on your end. I really look forward to continuing our friendship in the fall!

    Love, April
